Digitalisation and Democracy: How Can We Help Shape Them?

On behalf of Democracy International e. V. and the City of Siegburg, we invite you to an evening on digital participation and democratic co-creation.

As digitalisation advances, how can it be shaped inclusively and made accessible to all?

The evening programme has two parts. First, we present new approaches to digital citizen participation based on the EU-funded IDEU project, in which Siegburg participated. Second, we focus on North Rhine-Westphalia, examining existing formats, current developments, opportunities and challenges.

Together with representatives from the city, civil society and Europe, we will discuss how to further strengthen digitalisation and democracy.
