Join us at the CHANCE Festival on 29 August 2026

Come and discover Life as an Activist, a project that brings the stories of climate activists closer to the public and explores how people are using democratic tools to create change in their communities.

At the festival, you’ll have the opportunity to meet our team, explore our displays and audiovisual materials, and discover inspiring examples of climate participation from across Latin America,  including a Citizens’ Assembly in the Amazon region and the Yasuní referendum in Ecuador, where citizens voted on whether oil extraction should continue in the Yasuní National Park and other more stories from Latin America.

Life as an Activist shares real stories from grassroots movements, highlighting the voices, challenges and impact of people using democratic tools to shape their communities.
