The 2020 Global Forum on Modern Direct Democracy will take place from 21-27 September in Bern, Switzerland. If you haven't done so yet, please register here.

At the Forum this year, we will offer five specialised tracks:

  1. The Swiss direct democracy practice in a global context
  2. Youth power in the times of climate change
  3. Citizens’ Assemblies to support democracy
  4. E-Voting and technology in modern democracy
  5. Global direct democracy via tools for transnational citizens participation

You can now send us your proposals for a workshop or academic paper on one of these five issues, using the form below. The deadline for proposals is 15 March 2020.
