I have been promoting participatory (direct) democracy since199. I urged BC-Canada-politicians to introduce a "Recall and referendum" law. In 1996, they introduced a high-threshold "Recall and Initiative Legislation". Last year, I initiated a petition for a referendum, but only 690 citizens signed up the initiative. Angelika Gardiner, at the 2019 Forum, said: "Never give-up...try again, try again..." I will be initiating another petition soon.
