Jünemann, Marie

Marie Jünemann is a studied political scientist and democracy activist in Berlin. Since 2019, she is the spokeswoman for the "Volksentscheid Transparenz", an initiative that aimes to introduce a transparency law in Berlin. In 2022, she played a key role in drafting a bill for a federal transparency law. Since 2020, she is a board member of Mehr Demokratie, the largest professional association for direct democracy with 10,000 members across Germany, independent and non-profit.
